Performance boost for electric motors thanks to thermally conductive casting resin

The casting resin specialist Lambda Resins, Kerpen, has developed a new, thermally conductive vacuum casting resin for stators: Lambdapox. At the joint stand of Gehring Technologies, Ostfildern, WAFIOS AG, Reutlingen, and Lambda Resins, interested parties can convince themselves of its effectiveness. A test arrangement with two electric motors will be available for performance comparisons.

Castrol, one of the world’s leading lubricants brands, and Gehring, a globally operating machine tool company, are partnering to roll out Castrol’s SmartControl, a real-time fluid condition monitoring solution, into Gehring’s machine tools. This is part of a wider partnership agreement both parties signed in 2018.

Basic and advanced honing training seminar was presented by panel of experts, and formal inauguration of Gehring Mexico took place in Silao on November 9th 2017!

November 17th 2017 – Farmington Hills, Michigan – To further strengthen its customer support in Mexico, Gehring opened a new facility in Silao, Mexico on November 9th 2017! Led by Eng. Abraham Pizano, the new Gehring de Mexico will provide customers with access to the company’s tooling rework, training, services and sales support.

New car fleets, which are offered in Europe from the end of next year, should not free up more thand 130 g of carbon dioxide per kilometer route releasiong on average - otherwise the automakers threaten heavy fines. Gehring therefore developed technologies that reduce the emission of more CO2.
