Gehring at the CIMT in Beijing

posted on March 22, 2017

From the 17th-22nd April, Gehring will be present at the China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT) in Beijing. Since 1989, CIMT has become one of the largest and most influential trade fairs for machine tools in China and the entire Asian region. Gehring offers you the opportunity to discuss the latest trends in the industry and to learn about our innovative technologies.

At the upcoming CIMT, Gehring will present the Powertrainhone PT 600, which due to its innovative proven machine design concept, can be used for all known methods of honing. As a basis for innovative processes, it thus makes a significant contribution to the reduction of CO2 emissions in internal combusion engine applications. Thanks to the new Gehring Formhoning technology, it is possible to hold the deformation of a cylindrical bore, thus achieving an optimum form of the bore during operation. This has a beneficial effect on the whole motor function with improved exhaust gas quality, oil, power, fuel consumption and wear.

In addition to the appropriate machine concept, tailored process and correct tools selection, the abrasives play a crucial role to achieve the correct surface finish quality. Our experts will be on site at the CIMT to advise you about the optimum abrasives for your specific applications. Gehring will introduce a new product- the new Gehring Diato Plasma Bar abrasive at the CIMT. These abrasives for processes such as roughing and pre honing enables from the get go an optimum stock removal and eliminate the need for grinding and exposing the diamonds.

In the realm of Industry 4.0, Gehring presents solutions for every machine type. Gehring provides Digital Solutions through the application of MindSphere -Siemens Cloud for Industry, which gives valuable real time data such as the productivity or the condition of machines, thus allowing the ability to provide future customer-specific solutions. The Gehring Connection Box also provides existing machines a Digital Gateway to reduce the service and administrative costs of Gehring machines. The Connection Box allows a tailor-made service menu for each machine, which is available in various development stages.

We look forward to welcoming you at the CIMT at Booth 503 in Hall W3!
